1. Definitions

• "We / Us / Our" — Cendana Works, operating from 27 Jalan Dato Bandar Tunggal, 70000 Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.
• "You / User" — the individual or business engaging our services or using this website.
• "Service" — any of the three service offerings: Spreadsheet Cleanup, Report Writing Assistant, or Refresher Workshop.
• "Agreement" — the written scope document agreed between us before work begins.
• "Content" — files, data, text, and materials you provide to us during an engagement.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a contact form or entering into a written scope agreement with us, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 18 years of age or have authority to act on behalf of your business
• Have the capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Agree to these Terms and Conditions in full

3. Service Description

We provide three discrete services for small businesses:

• Spreadsheet Cleanup (RM 130): Review and repair of Excel or Google Sheets workbooks, including formula correction, data/notes separation, naming standardisation, and summary sheet rebuild.
• Report Writing Assistant (RM 385): Configuration of an AI-assisted drafting tool for up to three recurring report types, connected to your existing data sources with built-in flagging for unverifiable figures.
• Refresher Workshop (RM 600): A half-day on-site session for up to ten people reviewing current tool usage, correcting problematic habits, and covering tool updates. Written notes provided within two working days.

Services are available to businesses located in Malaysia. Workshops are conducted within Negeri Sembilan. Remote delivery may be arranged by separate agreement.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your files and requirements before the engagement begins
• Supply materials (files, access credentials, samples) within agreed timeframes
• Review and respond to deliverables within a reasonable period
• Not share our deliverables or documentation for commercial resale
• Ensure that any files you provide do not infringe third-party intellectual property rights

5. Intellectual Property

Your files remain yours. We do not claim ownership over any content you supply. Documentation and written notes we produce for your engagement are yours to use and retain.

Any general methods, templates, or frameworks we develop in the course of our work remain the property of Cendana Works and may be used in other engagements in general form.

6. Payment Terms

Prices are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are fixed per service engagement unless a scope change is agreed in writing. Payment is due upon completion of the engagement unless otherwise agreed. We accept bank transfer and online payment methods as communicated at the time of agreement.

If you need to cancel an engagement before it begins, notify us in writing. Cancellations after work has started may be subject to a partial charge reflecting work completed.

7. Confidentiality

We treat all client files and business information as confidential. We do not share your files or data with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy. Written confidentiality agreements are available on request prior to file sharing.

Client files are not retained after an engagement closes. We do not archive your data for any purpose once the project is complete.

8. Disclaimers

Our services are provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranty that our deliverables will produce specific business outcomes. The Report Writing Assistant is a drafting tool; interpretation of the output remains your responsibility.

We are not accountable for errors arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you at the start of an engagement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability for any claim arising from a service engagement is limited to the amount paid for that specific engagement. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement by written notice. If we terminate due to your breach of these terms, fees for work completed remain payable. If you terminate before completion, a partial fee reflecting work done may apply.

11. Dispute Resolution

We prefer to resolve disputes through direct conversation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it will be referred to mediation before any formal legal proceedings. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any formal proceedings will be conducted in the courts of Negeri Sembilan.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms periodically. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued engagement with our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
